IJEOMA HOPE EPUNAH

Is a Nigerian, born in the 80”s and hails from Oraifite in Anambra State. After her graduation from the Nigerian University as a Lawyer, she worked as a Protection officer at NCFRMI (Presidency) before she proceeded to University of Aberdeen, Scotland United Kingdom, where she obtained her masters at Law in Energy and Environmental law. Further, Ijay enrolled in the famous Istituto Marangoni Milano where she studied Fashion and design intensive.
it was like a dream come true because while growing up she always visited her fathers production house [Elfans Model Hat] and assisted in designing, her dad is the creative director and has been designing hats since 1980 but her dreams were cut short because she had to first graduate from the University before any further fashion business so graduating from a fashion school in Milan 2017 was a major highlight for her as it felt like an additional feather to her long lost designing dream. The name Esperanza was inspired by her English name Hope, everyone back in Marangoni called her Hope so after her fashion school she decided to retain the Spanish meaning of Hope which is Esperanza for her fashion brand. The Spanish flair was as a result of her close connection with Spain, a country where she found love and a business role model.
